The Brief
From the very first meeting, one thing was clear: this was a family bound by a shared love of books, and that bond shaped everything that followed. Moving from a South Delhi villa into a gated luxury condominium, the brief called for space for two teenage sons, two sets of elderly parents, a home office, a family room, and a den — all while making the most of sweeping golf course views from wraparound balconies.
The material palette centers on warmth: honey and cream-toned marble flows from the lift lobby through every passage, echoed in hardwood floors and millwork throughout. In the formal living room, a fireplace surround was crafted from the leftover offcuts of two creamy stones, paired with a bar clad in handmade ceramic tile — a study in subtle textural contrast. Sculptural white lighting, hazy quartz coffee tables, and brushed velvet upholstery build on this creamy base, balanced by ember grey, nude cashmere, and dusty blue accents that echo the sky outside.
Custom wood-and-glass doors — a particular labor of love — divide the formal living and dining spaces, while the dining room glows under a single sculptural ceiling light in place of a traditional chandelier, paired with a bespoke woven cabinet and a considered mix of artwork.
The generously scaled master suite features custom bed linen drawn directly from the colors of the artwork above the headboard, while personal touches run throughout the home — including a favorite: a bespoke coffee table in the younger son’s den, built around his handmade model of a beloved sci-fi spaceship, framed in glass and wood.
The greatest validation came when the clients said their new apartment simply felt like home.
